Resumo: |
The present work aims to understand the overlaps between journalism and the social acceleration of time through the theory developed by the German theorist Hartmut Rosa. In this sense, it starts from the theory of acceleration to understand current journalism, from its production to its final consumption, considering that the social acceleration of time potentiates the phenomenon of disinformation. To verify the hypothesis, the work proposed to collect data on journalistic consumption and temporal perception through a questionnaire composed of 21 questions with four thematic areas: Sociodemographic profile, journalism and consumption, social acceleration of time and disinformation. There were 546 responses from people aged 20-30 years in the Brazilian Midwest. Finally, the results raised evidence of the correlation between temporal acceleration and misinformation. |
