Resumo: In this paper, we discuss the categories that emerge from the audiovisual production of the TAL, considering the network production mode and its role in strengthening public and cultural televisions from Latin America. Furthermore, we focus on device configuration thatdefines the TAL as a network, whose circulation and audiovisual content development feature an alternative to the hegemonic representation, or almost non-existent, from regional culture in the commercial TV. In addition, to understanding the foundations that streamline theoperational mode of this system, we analyze the content developed by the network, with the documentary series Mi País, Nuestro Mundo, by means of which we observe the forms and narratives that weave the representation of Latin American culture in their conformations anddifferences. Thus, we consider these three approaches as the main axes of action of the TAL, that firm over its history, cooperation activities over which seeks to articulate resistance mechanisms and funding for audiovisual production and for broadcasters from Latin American countries. This occurs principally because emerges as challenging to television limitations imposed by the historical juncture of the predominance of commercial media, the global products to the detriment of products from the region. Methodologically, we start from the perspective of the model of the culture circuit, to instrument an interpretation of these stages, which are necessary to the understanding of the process of cultural representation in the network of public television broadcasters in Latin America. This set is significant becauseit includes a panoramic approach of the object and does not restrict the analysis of the videos in isolation, disregarding the convergence of formats or language that characterize either the device or the productions displayed on it.
