Resumo: | The research aimed to investigate strategies to be practiced in the classroom, as instruments to combat resistant racism in the school environment through the contributions of art teaching and based on anti-racist assumptions. For this, the researcher proposed a work of artistic creation with a class of elementary school students, from the Francisca Josina State School, in Santana do Riacho/MG. It was developed from the investigation of Afro-Brazilian cultural manifestations, namely Candombe, Capoeira and Samba de Senzala, found in Quilombo do Açude/Jaboticatubas-MG. A scenic presentation was held at the end of the school year, within the scope of the Science Fair, as a result of the understandings of everything that was experienced together between teacher and student during the experience; This presentation contained the rereading of the materials studied, from the reality of the boys and girls of the class of the 8th. year A1/2022. |
