Resumo: The application of reproductive biotechnology tends to improve the general conditions of management and economy of the property. Thus, the objective of this study was to perform a survey of clinical and reproductive information of the Mangalarga breed in the North of Minas Gerais, in order to understand the profile of the breeding in the region. The study was conducted in February 2018, through its online application formulations, having been selected prior to prior notice of the Informed Consent Term. The sample consisted of 52 creators and game results received at the chi-square level with significance level of 5% with the aid of the software. The data obtained, 38.00% of the breeders are related to the leisure as of creation (p > 0.01). In relation to the natural mating method, a natural mating was held, with 40.00% (p < 0.01) and 58.00% (p < 0.01) performing an artificial insemination, of which 62, 00% use fresh fresco (p < 0.01). In addition, 41.00% refer to embryo transfer (p > 0.01). Female reproductive, abortion in females, and inguinal hernia in males are more prevalent in the region, with 39.13% (p > 0.01) and 83.33% (p < 0.01), respectively. It is concluded, therefore, that the northern region of the State of Minas Gerais has more than one study on the issue of reproductive reproduction, which can be reproduced reproductively.
