The 204 children of this sample, eleven (5,4%) didn´t continue in the study and eighteen (8,8%) didn´t complete all solicited exams. The data were analysed with the SPSS program, 10.5 version. The results allow to determinate in 55,1% of prevalence of the oral breathing. The signs and symptoms are: sleeping with opened mouth, snoring, scretching the nose and dribble on the pillow. The allergic rhinitis, the tonsillar and adenoid hypertrophy and nasal septal deviation are the causes of oral breathing and these results are similar to other studies
