Resumo: According to the ONU (1999). The culture of peace is based on the principles of respect for human rights, tolerance, promotion of development and more substantive and emancipatory democracy, education for peace and greater participation in society. A comprehensiveapproach to preventing violence and conflict. The debate on violence has reached a scale that has provoked a multiplicity of concerns and demonstrations in favor of a social change that promotes a culture of peace. The various manifestations of violence have significantlymodified the forms of sociability in the daily life of people, so it is necessary to understand the construction of a culture of peace anchored to everyday life in the context of social relations. Faced with this challenge, the present work aims to discuss how the culture of peace develops in daily life, considering the aspects of the micro and macro social structure. It is believed that the relevance of this research is configured to the extent that the principles of the Culture of Peace challenge society for social change. In this study, he proposed as a general objective to analyze the culture of peace in everyday life. This is a descriptive-exploratorystudy of a qualitative approach, anchored in the methodological framework of the Marxist dialectic. The study was developed in two phases: mapping and in-depth analysis. The first phase of the study guided the definition of the Fica Vivo program as the research scenario. The second phase allowed us to analyze in depth the culture of peace in everyday life for Fica Vivo participants. Data were obtained from interviews with 04 managers and 05 program clerks, as well as from 03 young people participating in the activities. The youths also wrote a diary that was included as empirical material. The data were guided by Critical Discourse Analysis (ADC), based on the legacies of Agnes Heller's Theory of everyday Life. The results show that the Fica Vivo program is permeated by discourses that indicate the expansion of social rights and associate these guarantees with the promotion of a culture of peace andhuman rights. The mediation of conflicts was considered an important strategy to strengthen and promote the culture of peace, since it reveals a process that values the human condition, which in turn, is capable of driving changes in the daily life of social relations. The freedom of the subjects was also related as a way to reach the culture of peace. Fica Vivo was presented in the speeches as a strategy that made it possible for young people to come and go in their territories. The adolescents attended by Fica Vivo understand a culture of peace in their life as something distant, but necessary. In this field, the findings reveal elements such as racial and generational prejudice, social stigma, naturalization of violence and social inequality as aspects that justify the perspective of a culture of peace among these young 10 people. Therefore, because it is a program that operates in territories of violence, the practical tendency of the construction of a culture of peace is still marked by the daily life that this phenomenon imposes on the subjects and society. It is concluded that Fica Vivo represents an important strategy with the potential to modify daily life in the search for a culture of peace.
