Having a wide presence of ornamentation in the urban space, this research intends to launch an interdisciplinary look at the ornamental grills in Belo Horizonte. The knowledge of Architecture and Arts, not only for the obvious graphical integrated force that characterizes these objects, but also by other interfaces - ethnographic , critical-history, poetical and fictional - that enable them to communicate. Adopts, as a starting point, the photographic documentation of facades of houses located in the oldest neighborhoods of the city and this stage is completed by the scanning of the found models, providing graphic vectors in open and editable files. This inventory must hold A free anda an heritage memory, by reconstituting a kind of formal landscape, able of storing and offering these forms to the public domain of creation. Meaning, returning them to the city.
