Adequação indivíduo-organização e desempenho individual no judiciário federal: o efeito mediador da satisfação no trabalho

Resumo: The aim of this study is to investigate the person-organization fit impacts on the individual performance and the mediating effect of job satisfaction on this relationship. For this, a quantitative and qualitative research of explanatory was conducted with the use of the mixedmethods and procedures: survey and interviews, using simultaneous triangulation strategy. The research was conducted in a public institution of the federal judiciary sector. 202 standardized questionnaires were applied and 17 interviews were conducted. The analytical methods used were multiple regression for quantitative analysis data and contend analysis for qualitative data. The results suggest that the person-organization fit influences positively the individual performance and this relationship is partially mediated by job satisfaction, it meansthat in the presence of job satisfaction has been identified as an increase in the personorganization fit impact on the individual performance. This research aims to contribute to the development of practices and policy of people management for monitoring of personorganization fit, individual performance and job satisfaction. In addition, the study's contribution to society, once the person-organization fit, job satisfaction and serversperformance reflects in their daily lives of citizens.
