Resumo: This research is scientometric analysis on the scientific production of PhD graduates of the Psychology of the Federal University of Minas Gerais, as object of analysis the published scientific article. Interdisciplinary between Information Science and Computational Mathematics, from Social Network Analysis using bibliometric indicators of production and collaboration, Excel and Ghephi software for maps generation and network visualization, the ScriptLattes software for data extraction from the Currículo Lattes platform and algorithms, among them, for disambiguation. Notes the egress's singular contribution to the scattering and decentralization of scientific collaboration beyond academics and geographical boundaries of this institutional bond. The absence of studies with this focus is one of the contributions and unprecedented research. The main corpus of 61 PhD graduates with 469 published articles forms a network of 390 authors and 103 institutions of various categories in collaboration. The mapping by areas of concentration identifies the different patterns of collaboration in interactions with external institutions, intra-institutional collaboration and dialogue between areas. Regarding the dimension of authorship, we highlight the unique authorship in the production of articles. The maps of the groupings and clusters of the collaborations formed by the areas: Social Psychology, Psychoanalytic Studies and Human Development, visualize the interconnections and / or distances between them An isolation of the Human Development area was identified in a nucleation process migrating to a course that culminates in the extinction of this Program area and the creation of a new Program: Cognition and Behavior. The visualization this process validates the importance of this type of study for monitoring science, in the emergence of new areas, the junction and / or extinction of scientific fields. The collaborative ties formed in the academic orientation point to a timid bond between the advisor and the advised and indicate that this bond does not translate proportionally into the production of articles considering that 57.37% of the graduates published articles with their advisor. Invites to reflect on how the knowledge spread among these actors, which probable factors may be the cause of such distancing. However a marked exogeny in the production of knowledge through collaboration with other external actors, an aspect considered positive in the evaluations. The diversity of collaborative institutions from different segments shows the multidisciplinarity of Psychology. The spatial analysis of the regional domains of the collaboration identifies the dispersion of knowledge production to 14 states, 10 of them outside the Southeast of Brazil (which concentrates 46.5% of Psychology Programs), 17 cities in the interior of Minas Gerais and 54 institutions outside the UFMG. The result is in alignment with the proposed challenge for the postgraduate programs: the expansion of geographic and thematic coverage as a way to overcome regional asymmetries. The aspects of internationalization demonstrate a low collaborative activity with foreign actors demonstrating that exchange programs do not reflect into the production of scientific articles. Low international visibility is demonstrated by the few collaborating countries (2.59% of co-authors) and linguistic proximity prevails for them, foreign journals of publication (14.69% of total titles) and articles published in foreign language (7, 25% of the total). As a product of this research, a server-owned repository site was created on GitHub for storing survey data, large scale maps and other products generated from this analysis and other studies. The site Colaboratório AlumniPsiUFMG is intended to be a collaboration space for the community of alumni scholars and research groups.
