Resumo: | This research intends to estabilish a method for conceptual representations production based on texts extracted from specialized literature. The analyticalsynthetic approach and techniques of extraction, filtering and transformation of text elements were used in the quantitative analysis of the content of selected texts. These analyses enabled the synthesizing of concepts in a facet classification scheme that functions as a base for the construction of the intended conceptual representations. The concept of corporate portal was taken as an object for experimentation. Based on an initial collection of 63 texts extracted from the scientific-thecnical literature about corporate portal, 923 propositions, and later 4.594 terms, were taken of. The transformation, the semantic analisys and the intertextual and intratextual occurrence analisys of these terms enable the estabilishment of 380 semantic units. From these semantic units, 12 facets and 4 subfacets were identified and used in a conceptual classification scheme. These facets andsubfacets, such as the concepts extracted from the texts, gave rise to a facet conceptual schema. As secundary result this research has reached a definition construction of the corporate portal, based on the synthesis of the focis in the categories. The facet conceptual scheme derived from the process established the base for the construction of the conceptual representations intended: 1) the simple listing, enabling the ordering and sequential visualization of facets and semantic units; 2) the XML listing, deriving the hyper textual and tree visualization of facets and semantic units; 3) the hyperbolic map, ensuring easy and interactive navigation through facets and semantic units. It will be necessary future research in automatization or semiautomatization of the conceptual representations construction process and in verifying its applicability in other knowledge fields for the improvement of the method. |
