Resumo: | Facing the new scenario caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, many changes and adaptations were necessary, both to mitigate the spread and to stop the increase in indicators of hospital bed occupancy and the number of victims. The "new normal" set new ways of interacting socially, as well as forced us to have strict health care due to the spread of the disease. As a result of the new standards, many activities were adjusted to the new social context, anticipating some trends such as the increase of remote working and the growth of remote lessons, leading private and public institutions to adapt to the new circumstances. It is perceived that among different social standards and social conditions, citizens living in communities in situations of socially vulnerable (subnormal agglomerations) experienced substantial losses during the pandemic and the access to education presented as one of the most serious problems. Aiming to reduce this adversity, this Master's thesis analyzed how to adapt a psychopedagogical product developed to be used by children among 6 and 11 years in social vulnerability in Morro do Papagaio, in Belo Horizonte. This product aims to help to reduce the learning gap intensified by social isolation. The literature review addressed concepts of Frugal Innovation destined to the Base of the Pyramid (Bop), Social Innovation, Social Entrepreneurship, Social Technologies and Social Design that join with the proposition of the solution, for meeting a social demand. The research method used was qualitative-quantitative, descriptive and exploratory study, through the application of a semi-structured questionnaire, using qualitative analysis to support the discussion. The study suggests adaptations and presents a new model to be applied to the community, considering the socioeconomic and cultural context, using the concept of business destined to Bop, exceeding the pandemic timing period. |
