Resumo: | In recent years, the metropolitan area of Belo Horizonte has seen a series of saraus occurring in streets and squares of the city, carried out by young people who articulate culture and occupation of space. The objective of this work is a brief reconstruction of the origins of the saraus, more specifically of the Sarau dos Lanternas in Venda Nova, northern region of Belo Horizonte, and Nosso Sarau, in the city of Sarzedo, metropolitan region; Analyze your subjects and the possible senses produced by participation in these saraus. We understand that the sarau are spaces of political / cultural movement of a youth that occupy as cities as a form of social participation. Due to the fluidity and dynamics of the studies with youth groups, a research in deepens in the two saraus in a space of one year, and brings up surveys from: the participant observation; From the application of questionnaires, which have no statistical value, but which function as a north for a production of data that are not known or perceived by observation; From interviews with young people, chosen from their participation and intensity in the saraus and youth groups. These collectives have the orientation of horizons and self-management and beyond the saraus, promote cultural events, such as Mc's battles, Skate Games, Bazaars, Library, among others. An analysis of the participants' own poems, collected during the saraus, contributes to the construction of a broader vision of a youth movement that produces real speeches, enlarges society and builds a process of civility. We perceive that marginal saraus have characteristics common to contemporary juvenile contestations in the city of Belo Horizonte, as an organization in collectives, politicization of cultural actions, meeting and occupation of public space, cultural and artistic production also as a form of manifesto, bringing to the tone as urban, social, generational, racial, gender, artistic issues produced by subjects participating in the saraus. |
