Resumo: The aim of this study was to analyze the performance of the Oral Health Teams (OHT) in the School Health Program (SHP) taking into account professional qualification, planning of actions, and organization of the work process. Data from the PMAQ-AB (2nd cycle) related to OHT activities in schools and daycares were analyzed.Thedependentvariablewasthequestion:"DoesOHTperformsactivities inschoolsanddaycares?".CovariateswerequestionsrelatedtoOHT:professional qualification, continuingeducation, planningofactionsandorganizationofthework process, team meetings, territorialization, and reference population. Descriptive analysisandbinarylogisticregressionmodelswereperformedandoddsratio(OR), 95% confidence intervals, and p values were calculated to assess the association between the dependent variable and the covariates. All statistical analyzes were performed in the SPSS program (version 25.0). This study was approved by the ResearchEthicsCommitteewiththenumber1,275,911.Ofthe18,329OHT,92.5% carried out school activities. In the final model the following variable were maintained:professionalqualification(OR=1.20,95%CI:1.06-1.35,p<0.001), continuing education (OR= 1.78, 95% CI: 1.56-2.03, p <0.001); monthly planning (OR=2.45,95%CI:2.07-2.89,p<0.001),monitoringandanalysisofindicators(OR =2.11,95%CI:1.85-2.39;p<0.001),self-evaluation(OR=1.57,95%CI:1.39-1.78, p <0.001), participation in all meetings (OR = 2.85, 95% CI: 2.40-3.39, p <0.001), and activities planned accounting for vulnerabilities (OR = 1.16, 95% CI: 1.01-1.33, p <0.001). Professional qualification, action planning, monitoring of health and management indicators, as well as organization of the work process are positively associated with OHTs performing activities in schools and day cares.
