Estudo sobre a percepção dos trabalhadores da Prefeitura Municipal de Divinópolis, sindicalizados no SINTRAM, quanto aos processos de saúde/doença relacionados às condições e processos de trabalho

Resumo: The relationship between work and health / disease is recognized as a complex phenomenon, being dated since antiquity. It was from the Industrial Revolution that this relationship came to be regarded as a problem, once the technological transformations inaugurated brought at its core with them important transformations in the working world. His confronting registers historical struggles and the intervention of different social actors that looking for ensure the health of workers. The present study deals with a qualitative study inserted in the Workers Health field. It sought to know the perception of workers about health / disease processes and the conditions and labor relations, from research conducted with public workers of the town hall of Divinópolis,unionized in the Union of Municipal Workers of Divinópolis and Centro- Oeste region - SINTRAM. The city of Divinópolis is located in the center - west of Minas Gerais, Brazil. Held initially a literature review as subsidy for the reflections proposed, followed by the realization of interviews with unionized workers, in different roles and Municipal Secretariats. It sought to clarify how the labor process, in capitalist society, anchored in Fordism models / Taylorism / Toyotism and by the managerial public administration interferes with the living conditions and health of workers, taking away their condition of political beings and turning them into consumption beings. The survey show that workers, at its entirety, consider the work as fundamental in their lives and that recognize themselves socially, from work. 66.7% of the workers interviewed had some damage of health. Of these, 70% does some relation his illness with the procedures and labor relations and 30% if reported to personal and hereditary issues. The totality of the workers interviewed attach the processes of health / illness to individual attitudes and realize how highlighted from the social structure. It was recognized in that search, through the respondents, that the Divinópolis Prefecture incorporated the precepts of management public administration and, consequently, its administration presents basic materials constraints to execution of the services to the hand worker work, compromising the services rendered to the population and the quality of life and health of theirworkers.
