Resumo: | This work takes an overview about the documentaryJango (Silvio Tendler, 1984) as an object of political fight against the military dictatorship on earlier 1980-ies. The analysis of its production process and of its reception by the social media can be considered one of the last products of Cultural Frentismo an strategy where artists and intellectuals used on criticizing the military dictatorship is the idea which involves this thesis. Going thru these two topics, the documentary production process and the documentary´s receptions by the media, the research intends to understand the trajectory of the movie Jango, since the original idea until the documentary´s premiere and career in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. The analysis of the production process investigated its financial aspect, the research, the censorship and the movie release. The study of the documentary´s receptions on the media is based on important newspapers reviews (Folha de S. Paulo, Veja, O Globo e Jornal do Brasil) about the movie and its extent in society. The dichotomist division, production and reception, is didactic. In the premiere context, during the Diretas Já campaign, the newspaper Folha de S. Paulo was already considering the movie The documentary of Diretas Já campaign because of its huge discussions about the historical and political moment. This work also presents an analysis of another movie Os Anos JK (1980) - from the same director. |
