Resumo: | The process of maintaining the health of workers, as well as the development of diseases resulting from work activity, among other factors, may be associated with the tasks performed and the demands of labour context, demanding efforts of different natures. If the work environment allows the use of technical and creative potential bringing together requirements in a moderate manner, this is likely to contribute to the maintenance of health. On the other hand, if excessively rigid regulations are required, and the tasks demanded are emptied of meaning, this can cause pathologies. Theses relations can be explored trough the literature that deals with quality of life, ergonomics, pleasure and suffering at work. Thus, the goal that drives this research is to analyze how the dimensions of the task relating to the dimension of the ergonomics and the damage caused by the work context, from the perspective of young works assisted by the association of Social Vocation Education (ESPRO). Young workers are a paradigmatic public and differentiated in the field of organizational studies. To this end, a survey was carried out using mixed methods (qualitative and quantitative). On quantitative step, the data were collected through questionnaires (634 respondents), while, in step qualitative semi-structured interviews were used (25 participants). The data were examined trough exploratory factor analysis (EFA), descriptive data analysis, structural equation modeling (SEM) and content analysis. The results indicate 12 (twelve) statistically significant relationships identity of the task with physical ergonomics, damages/disturbances, physical damage and psychological damages; feedback with cognitive ergonomics and psychological damage; cognitive ergonomics with physical damage; physical ergonomics with psychological damage and physical damage; psychological damages with damages/disturbances and physical damages and physical damages with damages /disturbances being corroborated with the reports obtained in the interviews. |
