Resumo: Considering studies about the landscape and the diversity of ways to dwell in the world, this dissertation is oriented by a discussion of the perception, experience, choices, movement and of our dwelling in the world. I tried, with this idea, to discuss with some authors (Ingold, Gibson, Merleau-Ponty, Eduardo Viveiros de Castro, Basso, Tilley),starting from a fenomenological, ecological and perceptive approach, in association with etnological works, in order to elaborate about how the experience is being thought em some areas of our academic knowledge and how it could be thought directly in the archaeological works. Using this whole approach as starting point, I choose to work with a group of precolonial rock art sites, located in Rodeador, Monjolos-MG. This area that is in direct contact with the Espinhaço, shows a great diversity of sites that dialogue with other nuclei of archaeological studies nearby. I intend to search for analytical possibilities regarding the rock art and the landscape insertion of the sites, with direct dialogue with fenomenological perspectives. Tool-wise, I’m trying to experiment GIS, considering its limitations and possibilities as an resource in approachs that understand the experience and the perception fundamental to the construction of knowledge and dwelling in the world.
