Resumo: | This work analyses the characteristics, values and methodological procedures of the Independent Theatre and Group Theatre demonstrating that both, besides constructing a system of artistic production, are fundamental cores of their participants formation and knowledge creation. For the investigation development we worked with two groups originally from San Miguel de Tucuman, located in the North-West of Argentina: Nuestro Teatro, paradigmatic for being one of the founders of Independent Movement in Tucuman in 50-s, and Caverna from the 90-s generation, identified with the functional ways of Group Theatre. The analysis of the documents belonging to both collectives, as working diaries, books of minutes and periodical extracts were studied in relation with specific texts and within transdisciplinary theoretical boundaries as Foucault's The Hermeneutics of the Subject. From theother side, two artistic experiences with actresses belonging to both traditions were created, where technical procedures, ethic precepts and methodological elaborations of the studied collectives were made. The results of the investigation show the paradigms of Independent Theatre and Group Theatre. From the other side the results clarify methodology, techniques and organizational ways which make of them schools of actors formation. Also the work demonstrates the directors importance in formulation of dialogic relations in Independent Theatre which promote the freedom of the word as a creative methodology. The thesis also reflects upon the exercises functions, action and different elements of actors training in Group Theatre, demonstrating the value of the laboratory working conditions in the transmission of experienced knowing and knowledge constructions. Moreover, as a result of one of the creative experiences, an actors training based on the principles of boxing wasdeveloped, which represents a contribution for the application of specific resources in disciplines which use body techniques. |
