Resumo: | This work discusses the Impro System, created by playwright and english professor Keith Johnstone in the second half of the twentieth century, applied to the actor's training in higher education in Minas Gerais. Based on a study about the insertion of this system in Brazil, we seek to understand how Johnstones work was rethought and recreated in pedagogical proposals that are part of the curriculum in the theatre education of Escola de Belas Artes da Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais and Universidade Federal de São João del-Rei. Therefore, the case study of this research examined the application of Impro System in the actors training in both universities cited. From the observation of teaching practice, the proposition of this methodology as a teacher, the assessment and recording of lessons and the administration of questionnaires to students, it can be perceived what way and what are the means used by the Impro System establish connections with the actors creative process and with aspects of performance and teaching when applied in the context of theatrical training. |
