Resumo: |
In Brazil, of the cases of violence against women registered until 2015, 48.2% were perpetrated by the current partner and 30% by the ex-partner. Despite being provided for in the Maria Law da Penha, that men who commit violence against women go through some type of intervention, there are numerous difficulties in its implementation, as described above. important problems with the way these are made available. Alternatively, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) has demonstrated evidence of effectiveness with diverse populations, including men who commit violence (HAV). Starting from guidelines for intervention with HAVs, which are provided for in the Maria da Penha Law and the current evidence of DBT, it is observed that DBT skills training (HT), as a way single intervention, may be effective for HAVs. Therefore, this research aimed to objectives: identify the parenting styles of the participants’ caregivers; evaluate the effects of HT in TCD in emotional dysregulation responses; evaluate the effects of HT on DBT on strategies for resolving marital conflicts. A quasi-experimental pre-post design was used and the following instruments were applied: Individual Characterization (PCI), Emotional Regulation Difficulties Scale (DERS), Parental Bonding Instrument (PBI) and Revised Tactical Conflict Resolution Scales (CTS2). |
