The pedagogy of the concept as a creative act: A proposal for minor teaching in philosophy at IFMA. Considering the challenge posed by the professional aster's in Philosophy - PROF-FILO - which is to propose an innovative methodology for teaching philosophy, this study aims to compose an innovative methodology for the teaching of philosophy, resulting from the methodological approach proposed by Silvio Gallo and a non-Eurocentric content envisioned by Fabiano Monge, both anchored in the philosophy of Gilles Deleuze and Félix Guattari, enabling students' autonomy in thinking. According to Deleuze and Guattari, philosophy is a discipline capable of creating concepts. The act of creating concepts, the French philosophers say, always results from a violence of the body against the outside. Therefore, the proposal for a true philosophy, they argued, would be to analyze the conditions of concept creation, in other words, a Pedagogy of Concept. Following this same line of thought, Silvio Galo proposes a pedagogy of concept realized in four didactic steps: sensitization, problematization, investigation, and conceptualization. In agreement with Deleuze and Guattari, regarding another concept, the concept of 'Minor,' also explored by Gallo when proposing 'minor education,' but going far beyond, Fabiano Monge suggests Minor Philosophy Education. In contrast to a major education in Philosophy (education organized top-down by large education corporations, based on Eurocentric philosophical doctrines), minor education in Philosophy operates horizontally from educational perspectives that diverge from the European viewpoint, integrating classroom issues relevant to the experiences of minorities such as Black people, women, Indigenous peoples, and LGBTQIAP+. In alignment with Fabiano Monge's direction, we propose a minor education in philosophy grounded in the philosophies of Deleuze and Guattari, utilizing Silvio Gallo's Pedagogy of Concept framework - sensitization, problematization, investigation, and conceptualization - and a non-Eurocentric content focus on Black people, women, Indigenous peoples, and LGBTQIAP+ issues presented by Fabiano Monge in his work, for a philosophy education: against the hegemonic model of Greek originality. |
