Resumo: |
The present dissertation analyzes the process of construction of the Guinean state in the context of ethnic-cultural diversity, considering as reference time two periods: the moment of elaboration of the Constitution of the Republic of Guinea-Bissau of 1984, including the matrix of 1973, and the Process of democratization of Guinean politics after 1994. Both are of fundamental importance for the understanding of the current sociopolitical conjuncture in Guinea-Bissau, as a result of successive coups d'état in that country. It points out that most of Guinea-Bissau's problems originate from the ideology of a centralized policy implemented by the PAIGC, which created the new Guinea-Bissau state. In order to do so, it addresses the significant character of conflicts of power and struggles for the legitimacy of the various ethnicities disregarded in the textual body of the Nationalist Constitution of Guinea-Bissau, which seeks to impose one culture as a national to the detriment of others. It addresses how the feeling of uncertainty about the future of Guinea-Bissau terrifies the Guineans, especially the peasants manipulated by the illusory discourse of unity and struggle of the PAIGC, which called on the Guineans to fight for "national liberation." It indicates the absence of a political project of multiethnic conscience to promote the communication link between the subjects of Guinean politics. It concludes that the narrative that once accommodated Guineans has called their attention today, forcing them to leave the comfort zone in defense of the rights and duties common to all Guineans. |
