Resumo: |
This dissertation explores the representations or conceptions of politics, as an emic category, among the students at a public high school - Benedito Leite Teaching Center, in São Luís, Maranhão. In this sense, it presents an anthropological discussion based on the observation and analysis of concepts and practices about questions that students experience in the school environment. The core of the work resides in the different ways in which these young people construct and reframe the notions of school, family, politics, sociology, gender and sexuality from their experiences, with a view to demonstrating how they are politically creative, and how the different conceptions of politics unify and permeate these different themes. The approach adopted in the research dialogues with the proposal to develop an ethnographic theory capable of returning politics to daily lives. |
