ABSTRACT: Dissertation aims to comprehend the meanings of belonging to a club in a marginal context of Brazilian football, specifically on the professional circuit of Maranhão, where. a priori, it would not root for any club. I propose to understand how the fans build and incorporate sets of standards, rules and forms of social relations through its coexistence with Sampaio Corrêa Futebol Clube. The survey was conducted through interviews with fans, named bolivianos. I tried to reveal different forms and meanings of belonging to a club that cause them to have the "belief in the game" or ilusio to root for a club in a marginal context of Brazilian football. This link, in its many forms, brings to fan the idea of the importance of the club in his life. At times it is that gives identity, makes it part of a group. gives a "face" is to be with people who share the same vision, which makes the twist in some form of socio-political rather peculiar, coined in particular social contexts. |
