The present research investigates the graffiti production in the urban art context in the city of Goiania, throughout the last decade (2008-2018), from the case study of two regions of the city, downtown with the Beco do Codorna (Quail Alley) and the South Neighborhood with the Bacião (Big Bowl) that during that period both became places of large setting ups of mural interventions. Our theoretical background is established upon a dialog between Visual Culture studies and Architechture and Geography studies. This investigation aims to think graffiti within the context of public art and street art as well as their relationship with the surrounding space.
