Resumo: The present dissertation aims to examine the notion of immediate consciousness as presented in the opening chapters of the Doctrine-of-Science Nova Methodo and in the Essay on a new presentation of the doctrine-of-science of Fichte. The thesis that all consciousness is conditioned by the immediate consciousness arises in the text as an alternative to the unsatisfactory explanation of the consciousness that separates subject and object and culminates in regression to infinity, or still, in the impossibility of explaining consciousness effectively. Immediate consciousness is characterized by the unification of subject and object, that is, it is a thesis of the synthetic unit of consciousness. However, immediate consciousness is not a complete consciousness, it is only the subjective factor that must be presupposed in all consciousness, and furthermore it presents the status of idea which does not appear in consciousness. The immediate consciousness is properly an awareness of action, enabling the various experiences that make up the human experience. specially the morality. The different elements that orbit around the issue of immediate consciousness will be as far as possible included in our consideration. However, before presenting and dealing directly with immediate consciousness, we shall explore the question about the principle of philosophy and present what is proper to the doctrine of science, such as concept, object, and method, so that we have preparatory elements sufficient to deal with the context in which immediate consciousness is embedded in the exposition of the Doctrine-ofscience.
