Resumo: |
This paper discusses some motifs of the late work of the philosopher and critic Walter Benjamin (1892-1940). Choosing as the center of this late work the Benjamin production cycle known as "Passagens" this intends to investigate specifics aspects of the developments of the notion of history there outlined, in the internal history and the particular reception of that cycle. The research is guided by the history of the philosophic category of the “origin” in its refacement in philosophy of the knowledge/philosophy of the history, theory and methodology of history, history and technique themes, discussed in the three parts of the work, respectively. Therefore it is proposed to interpret the late work of Benjamin in the light of the origin category with the purpose of promoting the understanding of “Passagens” in its fundamental, developments and destinations. Thus also address to recognize as belonging to that cycle some aspects of earlier work, notably the plan of what would become a book about Baudelaire and the aspects of the reception engendered by this. Therefore, it operates the display of the "origin" as the philosophical concept that engenders the late work of Benjamin. Under the philosophy of origin, it is about going through the circuit of the earlier and later history of the “Passagens” in order to show its demonstration in the constitution of that as a philosophical, theoretical and methodological basis of the concept of history present in the work of Walter Benjamin. |
