This dissertation was developed for the Professional Master‟s Degree in Teaching in Basic Education of the Stricto Sensu Graduate Program of CEPAE/UFG, guided by the issue of sexual violence against children and the possibilities and limits of the teacher's role in confronting and preventing it. The main objective of the work is to broaden the debate on the importance of preparing the teacher of early childhood education to deal with the combat and prevention of sexual violence in childhood, whether to instruct, denounce or act in the various nuances of prevention. The method adopted for the research development was Marx's historical-dialectical materialism, specifically in the Vygotskyian line. The research was composed of multiple methodologies that were justified mainly by the professional master's degree program characteristics, i.e., the development of the educational product, the Guide for Childhood Education Teachers: we need to talk about childhood sexual violence, which guided this research. The mosaic composed by the multiplicity of methodologies applied emphasizes the bibliographic research that subsidizes the discussion about sexual violence in childhood, becoming not only the theoretical reference of the research but also an integral part of the educational product itself, with Saffioti (1989, 2004), Azevedo Guerra (1988, 1989), Vigarello (1988), and Stearns (2006, 2009). The bibliographic research is aligned with the documentary research to validate the information (LUDKE; ANDRE, 2020) and the product construction's pertinence. They were submitted to Bardin's (2016) data analysis method to analyze and categorize the existing guides and primers. For the empirical research, we carried out the action- critical research, which aimed at the transformation of the practice and considered the voice of the researched subjects not only for the record, according to Franco (2005), through questionnaires; for their analysis, the method of Bardin (2006) was applied again. With this research, it was possible to accomplish the main objective proposed, the educational product both in physical version, made available to the researched school and libraries, and in digital version, also available for free on various platforms for teachers. |
