Resumo: This work was based on an action-research in a rural MST’s settlement, the Palmares, in the city of Varjão (GO). Through an extension project, the “Cotidianos de uma Infância: Experiências Fotográficas”, were conducted photography workshops and cameras were offered to children who live in the community. From the productions of photos, taken during four months, the children were able to produce narratives about Palmares they saw and imagined, sharing those experiences through photo albums and circles of culture and conversation. Visual and textual discourses constructed by them through narratives provide information that shares knowledges about the community and the daily lives of children. The observation and analysis of the albums allows perceive how each child handles the photography and the everyday life of living in Palmares.
