Resumo: With this thesis we aim to understand how the Brazilian language as an heritage emerges in statements of the Brazilian speaking community in Pescara (Abruzzo/Italy) in relations of force. In order to a better analysis of the constitution of these relations, we carried out an analytical- descriptive work on the discourses, with theoretical and methodological basis on Foucault's formulations, especially to discuss the relations of power and forms of resistance and also, from Bakhtin's centripetal and centrifugal forces thought. This theoretical field and the linkage with these two scholars, allow us to make an analytical gesture of statements so that we can identify the set of (de) legitimation of the Brazilian language spoken outside its territory of origin. We try to identify the statements that were possible to break into the discursive network, generating forces that control its use. To do that, we selected the following instruments: questionnaires, social media, field diary, photo. This study is of a qualitative nature and follows the paradigm of the ethnographic study, involving the participation of the researched community. To describe and analyze the statements, we rely on the field of Discourse Analysis. The results indicate a predominance of discourses that construct the Brazilian representation as a uniform and homogeneous value tone. The Brazilian language as an inheritance is establishes itself by music, cooking, the internet in foreign space. There is a process of normalization that engenders and makes the discourse of (de) legitimization of the mother tongue work. There is no governmental power prohibiting the communication in Brazilian language, but a whole social set that leads the subject to use the local language to enter work, school, transportation, and commerce. The results show that the Italian subjects have a favorable attitude to bilingualism. the Brazilian language takes place in familiar domains.
