Resumo: Ethnobotanical knowledge of medicinal plants and unconventional food plants of farming families belonging to the Núcleo Regional Luta Camponesa da Rede Ecovida de Agroecologia. Medicinal plants and PANC are important for peasant farming families, contribute to their sovereignty and food security, serve as remedies for themselves and their pets, as defensive and increase the functional biodiversity in their crops, as well as being a source of income for autonomy they provide and for marketing. Traditional knowledge of biodiversity that these social actors have to be rescued and valued. This study aimed to carry out an ethnobotanical survey, identify the plants indicated by the farming families of the Núcleo Regional Luta Camponesa da Rede Ecovida de Agroecologia; register their purposes, revenue management and through the testimonials understand how agricultural transformations influenced the occurrence of these plants. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews of dialogic form, was also held ethnobotany walk guided by the participants to visualize the plants that occur and are grown in the production unit, which have enabled photographic records. The information was transcribed in Excel 2007 tables, from which the analyzes were performed. To prevent the identification of / the respondents / as their names were replaced by traditional plant names. The identification of species was performed by the literature. So they were interviewed 53 farmers the 30 families and residing in the Território da Cantuquiriguaçu (Laranjeiras do Sul, Nova Laranjeiras, Rio Bonito do Iguaçu, Porto Barreiro) and Paraná Centro (Laranjal and Palmital), of these 15 are certified and 15 agroecological transition. Most part of the Núcleo Luta Camponesa since its foundation. They are quite blended, have a five ethnic groups. They have peasantry features as diversified production for self, certain autonomy with respect to the market. The production units in general with two people and mostly already entering their 50s. With regard to traditional knowledge, the main form of acquisition is from the family life, especially with the mother. 246 ethnospecies plants were indicated, which are distributed in 76 families, 192 genera and 224 species, of which five were indeterminate. The main use is as a human medicinal 56% of ethnospecies, followed by PANC and herbs with 20%, medicinal plant for animal use 13%, 7% and bioactive plant for agricultural use (pesticides and fertilizers) 4%. All families have links with traditional agriculture, however, farming practices were influenced agricultural modernization. After use of chemicals, there was a reduction in the occurrence of certain medicinal and food plants, especially herbaceous spontaneous. The health of the family and the debt were decisive for the agroecological transition. With the increase in frequency transition occurred in the plant production units.
