Resumo: | Since 1997, Inmetro participates in administration awards, as the National Award of Quality - PNQ, the Rio Quality Award - PQRio and the Federal Government Quality Award - PQGF. In 2000, Inmetro conquered the gold ribbon award of PQGF, demonstrating its administration improvement. In a process of continuous evolution, Inmetro is permanently implementing new methods and administration processes in order to be in the vanguard of the public institutions. This work is based in the case study method. It presents a research including four public institutions, winners of PQGF, at the period concerning the 2002 award. Two of them are silver ribbon owners and the two others have been awarded with the trophy PQGF. The People subject, of the report of administration of the four institutions, has been analyzed searching for innovative experiences which could be used to suggest improvements in the area of people's administration of Inmetro. Besides the documental analysis, there has been hold informal interviews with the people responsible for the area of human resources of Inmetro, within the purpose to elaborate a proposal according to the reality of the Institute |
