Resumo: | Data should be recognized as critical assets in organizations. Are valuable tools they need and deserve to be managed, because through the contextual data (information), it is possible to better understand customers, suppliers, products, and finally, the "life" of the organization. Can become powerful tools for decision making, to identify new opportunities, to define strategies, minimize risks, develop new products or services that may provide a competitive advantage for the organization. This paper presents concepts of Data Management, Data Governance, Data Quality, Maturity of Data Management; discusses the importance of measuring the capacity of data management organizations and finally, presents a comparative evaluation of the maturity models data management. This review aims to identify weaknesses, strengths and other relevant characteristics for the purpose of providing support for organizations, professionals and researchers can, through the results presented in the research, reflect and choose the model of maturity best fits the needs and characteristics of your organization or research, and from this, measure the processes, activities and programs related to the management of data as well as devise strategies to move towards the development and maturation |
