Resumo: | This study describes the results of an investigation carried out to access improvements at organization s processes that employs knowledge s management. It was developed at the intensive care unit belonging to the Spain Hospital which is a private and philanthropic institution located at the states of Rio de Janeiro s capital. This work employed the knowledge s spiral described by Nonaka e Takeuchi (1997) as the critical model of questionnaire. The methodology was based on reviewing the literature related to knowledge in interviews of experts to find out which were the basic elements for the hospital s area. As results of this research concluded that the competitive advantage that there is no provider has more qualified professionals and are updated. However, the information absorbed by doctors, in most cases, are channeled solely for the improvement of the efficiency of the processes and not the effectiveness and even though there is a constant search to update on the process of all that is being done and discussed the other doctors and hospitals, the providers of medical service and hospital have not yet discovered how to manage the creation of innovations in the treatment of their patients in order to turn this tacit knowledge and explicit competitive advantage. |
