Resumo: The way we understand space is very important because it greatly influences how we understand the world, how we perceive others, how we relate to each other, and how we do politics. Cartography is a powerful language, both to lead us to apprehend the space in which we live and also to represent it. However, there is no neutral representation. Maps imply spatial imaginations that educate us before the world, imposing values, desires, attitudes, policies... If the maps we deal with reaffirm repeated values, we will be influenced by them. That is why we set out to think Cartography beyond representation, aiming to transgress this type of education. Encouraged by post-structuralist geographers who challenge contemporary Cartography, we see in performance art a possibility of producing maps beyond representation, so that the artist's own body is the producer of maps, stimulating understandings and creations of worlds from the relation of the public to the created performance. It allows the spatial imagery resulting from these relations to stimulate an effective political positioning in front of a future that is being constructed and, therefore, altered at any moment by all of us that dare to live and to create
