Resumo: This Master's Final Paper had two interrelated objectives: (a) to carry out an intervention with the aim of promoting health for a group of essential service workers who were in psychological distress as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic and, from this action, (b) to develop a new technique in Clinic of Activity, entitled, Letter to the Sender. This text, then, is composed of two main sections: a research report in the form of a scientific article and a technical advisory report. The first aimed to analyze the semiotic mediation processes that took place in the interactions between workers during the intervention, in order to assess the effectiveness of the new technique from the perspective of the Clinic of Activity. The second aimed to disseminate information about the health promotion action and its repercussions. During the intervention, the dialogue crossed several spheres of the participants' daily work, such as union issues, benefits received, uniforms, work tools, occupational risks, interpersonal relationships, salary losses and job and career plans. It was also provided for workers to think of ways to overcome and lead to the obstacles they faced together. Regarding the research, the corpus generated by the intervention underwent microgenetic analysis and the unit of analysis was the Zone of Proximal Development. Five markers were listed that refer to a good method in Activity Clinic, which were also used as analysis categories, namely: (a) subject as an observer of himself; (b) construction of new meanings and means of action; (c) dialogue as an instrument of elaboration on the activity; (d) emergence of controversies and (e) expansion of the power to act. It was possible to see the emergence of markers as a consequence of the application and implications of the Letter to the Sender. It was seen, then, that the activity of workers was revisited and given a new meaning, so that they could develop their power to act and build new horizons of action. Thus, the new technique proved to be effective in promoting health and intervening in work contexts.
