Resumo: |
The present work aims to question, from a perspective inspired by the first generation of the so-called Frankfurt School, on the reverberations of the American cinematographic industry in society. The first chapter deals with a critical review of the history of the Frankfurt School with the aim of more accurately delimiting the positioning of the work in the face of a spectrum of "critical positions" that emerge today in academic society. In the second chapter we will discuss a historical and critical discussion of the process of film production with the questioning horizon: about who are the stories that are shown in the cinema? And as an end, we will discuss how the process of co-opting stories from other media occurs and how this technique distorts and adjusts the stories of other media so that they have the function of maintaining the status quo of the capital society. To do so, we will use as central axis in the third chapter the work "V of Revenge" for its social weight acquired through time. |
