Resumo: |
This dissertation is an evaluation of the partial reality of the quilombola community of Conceição dos Caetanos (Tururu, State of Ceará), analyzing it as an important black experience (and perspective) of the rural areas in the State of Ceará. There is a little of history of the quilombola territory in this community, which is inserted in the historical process of formation of Ceará territory. Politico-cultural mediations processes existing in this reality were also emphasized in this study showing powers and forces that intertwine, and how they contribute in political struggle for auto-recognizing of the ethnic/racial differential of Caetanos community. The main purpose is to discuss the perspective of development experienced by this community, highlighting the identifying features. Based in a methodology that joined research tools, this work was structured through of surveys of secondary data, besides the application of questionnaires, classical and semi-structured interviews. Data from living conditions of the local population were collected, relating them to the idea of development. The black issue was analyzed in interface with the Brazilian agrarian question, which intertwines with the history of occupation, yield and life in the community of Conceição dos Caetanos. This study presents new characteristics and social correlations that outline a reality of the local population, produced jointly with the activity of the mediators, which one are still challenged to assimilate to mediate both knowledge systems, causing mediation approaches a scenario and not exactly of an emancipatory action, so important when it comes to developing of a traditional or a quilombola community. |
