Resumo: |
The advent of the Federal Constitution of 1988 established a Democratic State of Law that ensures fundamental rights and guarantees to all citizens. This legal framework guaranteed the recognition of children and adolescents as subjects of rights and full protection. In this context, the socio-education policy was implemented, supported by the Child and Adolescent Statute (ECA). In contemporary times, despite the collective struggles of various civil and political subjects in defense of the free exercise of sexuality, the resurgence of conservative actions and measures can still be observed in the most diverse environments. The present study aims to evaluate the socio-education policy as an instrument of re-socialization and the consequences of the absence of a specific standardization for the reception of the trans population within the scope of the Socio-educational Centers. The evaluation perspective is the in-depth evaluation. Through a qualitative approach, based on a bibliographical and documental survey, semi-structured interviews and the report of the passage of two young trans women through the socio-educational units, we will seek to understand the tensions that arose from episodes involving sexuality and gender of adolescents deprived of liberty. . From a theoretical point of view, the work articulates discussions about youth(s), transgenderism, gender, sexuality, resocialization and public policies. As the main results of this study, we can observe the incipient and, still, incongruous formalization of care for young trans people in the Socio-Educational System of the State of Ceará, a fact that points to the need to expand beyond the interstices of institutionalized spaces of power, discussions that guarantee the visibility and strengthening of the rights of this population, contributing to the effectiveness of the socio-education policy and its culmination in promoting resocialization. |
