Starting in 1997, and March as the Kyoto Protocol which addresses the issues relating to climate change, the world once again discuss the environment issue, which had been the focus of discussions in the Eco 92, Rio de Janeiro. These historical facts to sustainability worldwide leverage the creation of environmental NGOs in Brazil. To perform these activities need to capture their resources (financial, goods and services, voluntary work). This collection of resources takes place through alliances, partnerships, donations, sponsorship and collaboration of volunteers. The limitations of the Third Sector in alliances is to justify the importance of identifying the profile of environmental NGOs in Brazil and understanding of the relationship between the value chains of the enterprise and the NGOs. So the problem in scientific study is: What role integrating the value chain into a cross-sector strategic alliance between business and environmental NGOs? To solve the problem proposed science, the study is based on a general goal and four specific goals. It has as general objective: To analyze the role of integrating the value chain into a cross-sector strategic alliance between business and intersectoral environmental NGOs. And as specific objectives: to study the Third Sector as a modifier of a reality of social exclusion, the value of cross-sector strategic alliances between environmental NGOs and companies to the continuity of both; descriptive analysis, the scientific scope, the profile of the Brazilian Environmental NGOs may conclude that cross-sector strategic alliances, and assessing the role of integrating the value chain of businesses and environmental NGOs as a contribution to environmental sustainability through cross-sector strategic alliance. In methodological terms, the research uses the deductive method and the alternative method for inductive empirical finding of theoretical foundations. Uses the methods of monographic and systemic procedures. To work scientifically study the proposal in question is the precise use of concepts, definitions and constructs. The nature of this research is qualitative and quantitative, the data sources by means of literature and documentary, and those whose data are provided by people, survey the field.
