Resumo: This master's thesis addresses the increasingly frequent presence of digital culture in society and highlights the importance of the mathematics teacher adapting to this new reality, especially in preparing and conducting their classes. The work focuses on teaching of plane geometry, more specifically the content of polygon areas, as it is a one of the most charged in ENEM and for being considered critical in skills and competences evaluated by SPAECE. In addition, the choice of content is justified by its importance in the development of students' geometric thinking. The work also presents techniques disruptive pedagogical practices for the teaching staff, aiming at reformulating and revising their methods of teaching, presenting innovative methodologies. The aim is for students to build mathematical concepts and abstractions more effectively, through active methodologies, that appropriate the theory of constructivism, in which the student builds knowledge being the center of the process. The dissertation also aims to train teachers who master knowledge, but that they also learn to think, to correlate theory and practice. The teachers must seek to transform their practices, following the technological and scientific advances, since the technology today is able to integrate all spaces and times, facilitating the teaching process and learning. So 3D printing, Geogebra and Kahoot will be some tools presented to the teacher, as well as several strategies and activities to be used in classroom.
