Resumo: |
The increasing use of the internet and digital media/social networks, especially Facebook, through digital educational practices can influence the life and identity formation of teenage students, exposing some behavioral nuances from the virtual to the real world. In this sense, this research aims to understand the digital educational practices in the Facebook social network that influence the identity formation of young adolescent students in a state public school in Ceará. Methodologically, this research is classified as having a basic theoretical-empirical nature, linking bibliographical research with field research. This is a mixed or qualitative-quantitative study regarding the approach to the problem, exploratory regarding the objective. As for the procedural method, it is a case study with the use of literature review, complemented with field research through the open questionnaire instrument, via Google Forms application, for research and information collection applied to 13 (thirteen) “Zs”, that is, 13 young adolescent students of both sexes between 13 and 17 years old, who from a sociological behavioral point of view belong to the “Z” generation, born between 1996 and 2010. Such young people are regularly enrolled. ) in high school and users of the social network Facebook. The "Zs" voluntarily participated in this research, after being guaranteed anonymity and other ethical aspects of the research, such as: School Authorization Term, signed by the Director, Informed Consent Term and Informed Consent Term, the latter, signed by the parents or guardians and by the “Zs”, respectively. As for data and results analysis techniques, we used the interpretation of content referring to the literature review and critical analysis of the socio-historical discourse, concerning the content of the responses collected and transcribed for the textual body of this study. It is concluded that, on the one hand, the use of the internet and digital media/social networks by young adolescent students has been constantly increasing, presenting positive aspects regarding the educational process through interaction, communication, information, new discoveries and self-representation in the process. of identity formation. On the other hand, housing on social networks in general and on Facebook in particular presents some interpersonal, social and family risks. |
