The study presents the theme "Water Memory: Cultural and Educational Practices for Fishermen Islands Abaetetuba Pará" includes education for diversity, whether at school or in the everyday practice of fishing, aims to understand how to develop cultural practices and education of fishermen in the fishing communities of the Islands of Pará Abaetetuba in the first phase of the research was carried out extensive literature review and documentary, with analysis of written texts, photographs, seeking knowledge of the fishing activities in the region. In the second phase, we adopted the Research Participant utlizando the life story method to understand the relationship of fishermen with the natural environment, their way of life, and their educational practices in both formal education and informal, belonging to the daily life of fishermen and artisanal fishers on the islands, Maracapucu, Tabatinga, and Tucumanduba Sirituba region Abaetetuba Pará the study concluded that when analyzing educational practice, the memory of fishermen on the islands of Abaetetuba, Amazon region, the history of the present time, there is a fishing activity historic cultural and family die, and in the educational process, in most cases without educational support efficiently, the memory of those who work in the fishing activity, rebuilds new horizons for the history of education in which the role of teacher and turns of the fisherman and changes in net local streets, no electricity, and schedules consistent with the financial strength of the students, dependent on tidal liquid ways, this story, which turns over time, to give place to the teaching of quality coastal communities in the region. |
