Resumo: The objective was to characterize morphometrically diasporas of three species of mistletoe (Passovia pyrifolia (Kunth) Tiegh;.. Struthanthus marginatus DESR and Phoradendron mucronatum (DC) Krug & Urban), as well as studying germination behavior for different temperature and luminosity. The diasporas of each species were obtained in areas of orchards in the state of Alagoas with infestation of weed-of-finch, from October 2014 to July 2015. Soon after the harvest was determined for each species moisture content, weight thousand diaspore length and thickness. To determine the moisture of the seeds used were 10 replicates of 100 fruits subjected to a temperature of 105 ± 3 ° C for a period of 24 hours and the weight of a thousand diaspore. The design was tory 4x2 with 4 replications in which subsequently evaluates different temperatures (20, 25 and 30 ° C contained in addition 20 to 30 ° C alternating every 12 hours) in germination. Each treatment contained two types of diasporas, those who underwent removal of epicarp and those who remained intact. For the evaluation of brightness, the diasporas of the species studied were submitted to different qualities of light (white, red, far-red and dark) in germination. For these treatments were tested two types of diasporas (intact and without epicarp). The variables analyzed were: germination G (%), germination speed index (IVG), mean germination time (TMG) and dry matter (MS). Data were subjected to analysis of variance and the averages were compared by Tukey test at 5% probability. The mistletoe diasporas have ovoid shape (elliptical) with viscina layer, this essential feature in the dispersion of the species. Species Loranthaceae Family representatives have a lower moisture content in relation to the kind of Viscaceae family. Germination is maximimazada the alternating temperature of 20 to 30° C for Passovia piryfolia and Phoradendron mucronatum and 20 ° C for Struthanthus marginatus. The light did not affect the germination Passovia piryfolia nevertheless interfered to Phoradendron mucronatum and Struthanthus marginatus. The type of diásporoas influenced the germination of three species under study, where the removal of epicarp provided significant increase in germination.
