Resumo: This study aimed to identify and analyze alternatives entire Amazon region as Logistics Platform. Identifying the existing terminals and facilities for possible locations for the region, we analyzed the access roads in the region and means of transport, transshipment and supply market. Seeking alternatives for developing local, regional, national and international Logistics Platforms and through the creation of new commercial axis. First, we performed a literature search elaborating an overview of what the Intermodal Transportation and Logistics Platform. Then they conducted a field survey in the region with exploratory survey of local information. In the Region of the Southern Cross, the bases of the study were made in museum studies, newspapers, magazines and local government agencies in order to make a diagnosis. We conducted a study of the loads and flows of goods and future potential for the region, mainly focused on the pattern of industrial poles international and national, both imports from major suppliers in Asia and exports to the countries of the Pacific Ocean in South America were established development in the Amazon region and intermodal transport routes and river road route, road, air and rail-road, on all routes in the region were evaluated as alternatives, such as travel times, the freight costs and the level of investment required by the government. Finally, were appointed Cruises-South Acre, a strategic point for entry and exit of goods between two continents and consequently make Northern Brazil a new center flow generator and income.
