The study area surveyed was the basin of Ligeiro river - PR, located between the Meso West Center and Northwest Paranaense, fully occupying the Third Plateau Paranaense between the coordinates S24° 00 '35" and O52 ° 38' 03" and S23° 32 '09" and O52° 24' 05". The hydrographic basin of the Ligeiro river has 788,02km² and its main river, giving the name of the basin, it's a tributary on the left bank of the river Ivaí in medium course. The objective of this research is to carry out the survey and analysis of the degree of environmental degradation in the basin of Ligeiro river - PR, through the application of Diagnosis Physical Conservationist (DPC). From this methodology and some adaptations, afforded the necessary indices to compose the descriptive formula and thus to realize the calculation of the equation of the line and to obtain the degree of physical degradation of the basis that were delimited in three sectors. With the final results, the sectors A and B were those with the highest risk of environmental degradation showing that they deserve greater attention on the measures of use. The sector C was the sector with the best results, due to the susceptibility to erosion of soil which is lower in this sector. The results showed how the measures of mitigation of the processes that impact the environment are necessary, being the values of DPC for the basin of the Ligeiro river significantly high, revealing the need for measures to assist in the conservation of soil, vegetation, biodiversity and of the water resources available in the basin. As the final product, prepared to the rational use letter to basin Ligeiro river, being a cartographic product for the planning of land use.
