Resumo: |
This research studies the infant-juvenile literature production from Bahia in the last forty years, with the objectives of presenting the profile of this productions and also analyzing the relations that are established with the reader, in the moment of the production, considering and exploring the infant-juvenile universe, also in the moment of the reception, providing the interaction of the reader with the text. The corpus of this analysis is composed by fifteen narratives; it was selected also with the intention of proving the esthetic quality of the infant- juvenile literature produced by the writers from Bahia. This work was motivated by the little visibility, regionally and nationally given to the literature of Bahia for children and young ones, and for the absence of critical studies on this production. This study is composed by five chapters. In the first one, it is made some considerations about the changing process suffered by the infant-juvenile literature of deconstruction of the link with the pedagogy and also the conquest of the artistic statute, based on several theorists, such as Regina Zilberman, Nelly Novaes Coelho, Cecilia Meireles, Ana Maria Machado, Edmir Perrotti and Laura Sandroni. Later it is presented, in a panoramic view the historical way of the infant-juvenile literature, since the European origins to the productions from Bahia of the last four decades, clarifying the main tendencies of this production. In the third chapter, the authors from Bahia who wrote the selected books of this analysis are presented. The third chapter brings the analysis of the selected narratives to the corpus, reveling the infant-juvenile literature from Bahia is compromised with its readers, on one hand, for making of the universe of children and young ones a subject to a literary creation, and on the other hand, for producing works that provide the interaction between the text and the reader in the connection established in the reading act. Some considerations about the analysis performed are exposed in the fifth chapter. The research may contribute to fill in a big gap caused by the absence of studies about the youth literature from Bahia. |
