This dissertation presents the complete semi-diplomatic edition of the 63 folios of the Book of Expenses and Revenues of the Irmandade do Santíssimo Sacramento, manuscript between the years 1870 to 1889, in the municipality of Monte Santo, in the interior of Bahia. There was also a description of the main graphematic aspects (etymological spellings, graphic variations, use of abbreviations and graphophonetic indices) that reflect the graphic models of the time. To this end, studies from the field of Philology are used as reference, such as Spina (1977), Cambraia (2005), Basseto (2013), Lose and Mazzoni (2015, 2018), Marcotulio et al. (2018); of the Socio-History of Brazilian Portuguese, such as Mattos e Silva (2004, 2008), Barbosa (2008, 2012, 2017), Carneiro and Almeida (2006), Carneiro (2015), and of the Social History of Written Culture, such as Castillo Gómez and Sáez Sánches (2004) and Petrucci (2003). The Book of Expenses and Income, written within the religious scope, by three scribes skilled in the writing technique, presents content mainly related to the accountability of the Brotherhood. It is a manuscript that can contribute as a source for linguistic studies, considering the rarity of documents available, for that period, written in the region.
