This work demonstrates how the Rural Education was consolidated in Guarapuava - PR in the mid- twentieth century in the context of the Brazilian developmentalism. During this period the city was struggling for economic and political scenario in the state space in response to the national policy. Thus, education has to be an element that would contribute to this development, both in its history that the fight for more schools and the creation of a school specifically for rural workers is a record that could be part of the same national context that the agriculture which bias was very strong in the region. The research focuses on literature research and document analysis as documents related to Arlindo Ribeiro School and newspapers that circulated in Guarapuava in the analyzed period. How problematic was proposed understanding how the Rural Education, transmitted from 1948 to 1964, expressed elements of development policy in the School of Rural Workers Arlindo Ribeiro. To accomplish this study we determined the following objectives: Identify the economic and political aspects of rural education at the national, state and local level constraints at the above period; Demonstrate the needs and pressures that the Brazilian Rural Education presented during considering the establishment of School of Rural Workers Arlindo Ribeiro Guarapuava - PR, as well as examining the proposal of Rural Education of this school. We feel the need to address the national and state context to help understand the research. Found that rural education offered in the School of Rural Workers in Guarapuava Arlindo Ribeiro had reflections of what was being proposed on the national scene, with an education with elements of the new school. |
