Resumo: |
Objective: To evaluate the quality of life and sociodemographic, behavioral, health-related, and organizational factors in university agents at the UNICENTRO Irati campus from the changes resulting from the pandemic. Methods: This is a quantitative, cross-sectional descriptive study. Descriptive statistics of the variables were performed and, to identify the factors associated with quality of life, Linear Regression models were built, in uni and multivariate models, which were estimated by points and by intervals with 95% confidence intervals. In the final multivariate models, the variables that presented p-values <0.05 remained. Results: Participants were stratified by gender, with a predominant age range of 40 to 49 years (68.42% of women and 38.89% of men), living with a partner (68.42% and 83.33%), education from 16 to 20 years (73.68% and 61.11%), position with bonus (88.89% and 89.37%), and weekly workload of 40 hours (94.44% and 89.47%). There was a predominance of 84.21% of men and 88.89% of women who were not part of the Covid-19 risk group and 83.33% and 84.21% who performed work partially in home office. The workers showed higher satisfaction with Quality of Life related to the Physical domain (74.81) and lower satisfaction with the Social Relations domain (65.77). Regarding the general quality of life, the average satisfaction of the participants was 70.92. In the variables investigated showed that the ones most associated with the QL outcome were organizational, as well as those related to Covid, demonstrating how work plays a crucial role in the life of the individual and the influence that the current situation has on the daily lives of individuals. Final considerations: The data found denote the importance of planning and executing actions that aim at the prevention of physical and mental health problems, as well as improving the workers' quality of life. |
